SBAIT is a civil private right, non-profit, scientific association that deals with the prevention and care of trauma victims, primarily related to transport incidents and interpersonal violence. It was founded on January 15, 1982 and represents Trauma Surgery towards national and international health agencies.
We believe that our main goal is to help reduce the number of victims of violence and trauma and to improve the quality of medical care for these victims.
As the number of interpersonal violence and traffic victims reaches epidemic proportions in our country, we must debate, as part of society, its causes and the measures that can be taken to mitigate their effects.
Thus, encouraging primary prevention programs and improving the quality of care is part of our daily work.
The Society offers possibilities for training and updating to all the colleagues who attend these victims at the various emergency situations and emergency entrance doors of the country.
